Breguet limited edition 5947 BA/29/9V6

Inspired from the Breguet pocket watch No. 2170, sold in 1929, the new limited edition Breguet 5947BA/29/9V6 presents a splitsecond chronograph with a special tachometric scale. This scale enables to measure the speed of a moving body on an established distance.

DESCRIPTION OF THE WATCH

Classique Limited Edition 1/7, split-second chronograph with tachometric scale, ref. 5947BA/29/9V6

CASE Round in 18-carat yellow gold with finely fluted caseband.
Rounded horns welded to the case with screw-pins to secure the strap. Sapphire Case-back. Water-resistant to 30m. Case number 1 in a series of 7 watches.

DIAL Oven-fired white enamel dia l with secret signature. Individually numbered and bearing the Breguet signature. Hand - painted Arabic Breguet numerals. 30 -minute counter at 3 o’clock. Small second at 9 o’clock. Indication of the tachometric scale, (base 1km) indicating speed in kilometres per hour in red at the centre of the dial. Chronograph second and split-second hand at the center. Hollow-tipped Breguet hands in blued steel. Red hand for the chronograph and the tachometric scale.

MOVEMENT(/i) Manual winding chronograph movement with column wheels and split-second function on the crown. Numbered and bearing the Breguet signature. Calibre 535N, 12 lines, 23 rubies. 48-hour power reserve. Straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance wheel with timing screws, Breguet overcoil.
