The Portuguese discovered not only Brazil, the islands of Madeira, the Azores and Cabo Verde, but also determined where the best clocks could be found: in Switzerland.

This was what brought the two Portuguese traders Rodrigues and Teixeira to Schaffhausen in 1936, where they asked the International Watch Company a wristwatch with the qualities of a chronometer.

It would be a big clock, contrary to the fashion then, and, of course, very precise.

Rodrigues and Teixeira also demanded optimum readability, with this in mind, the Portuguese combines the ancient arts with the tradition of watchmaking, very refined.
