The fruit of many hours of patient craftsmanship, the CLASSIQUE 3755 takes refinement to the extreme in a spectacular interlacing of tooled, polished, rhodiumed and engraved parts which trace the fine and graceful outline of a complex and mysterious time. A tourbillon and a perpetual calendar put the finishing aesthetic touch to this skeleton watch.
The off-centred chapter-ring, which has been engine -turned by hand in a notched pattern, is accompanied by an arc showing the date of the month with a jumping retrograde mechanism. Two subdials put the days and the months on stage, respectively at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock. A small aperture at 3 o’clock completes the perpetualcalendar mechanism with a leap-year indication.
At 6 o’clock, the tourbillon cage hosts the seconds on its shaft. The case, crafted in platinum, has a sapphire-crystal back which reveals all the beauty of a movement dressed in pink gold and entirely engraved by hand. The delicacy of the arabesques, scrolls, leaves and other excessively refined designs, emphasizes the meticulous craftsmanship of openwork, which transmutes the movement into fine lace.
